The Vaya Health Board of Directors is responsible for collaborative, comprehensive planning and budgeting of publicly-funded, community-based mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities and substance use (MH/IDD/SU) services in our 23-county catchment area. The Board appoints a CEO/Area Director, oversees compliance, approves the annual budget and establishes policy guidelines for the CEO to administer the agency in such a way that meets the diverse needs of the community.
