AlphaMCS

We utilize AlphaMCS software for core NC Medicaid Waiver and State-Funded (IPRS) operations. This includes authorization entry, claims submission, and review of provider profile information.

The AlphaMCS system requires a secure login for each individual system user. Sharing logins is not allowed. Successful completion of the appropriate eTraining course is required prior to issuance of login to the AlphaMCS system. Please use the information below to register for and participate in a self-paced training course.

The eTraining System

We offer an online, self-paced training course for the AlphaMCS system. The eTraining allows providers to access the training at their convenience. The training is designed for those provider staff responsible for claims submission, authorization entry and review of provider profile information. Select the module for the specific training you require, based on your role.

Please review and implement the following items prior to accessing the etraining website:

  1. If you are using Internet Explorer as your internet browser, be sure to turn OFF compatibility mode to ensure the eTraining website works properly.
  2. Add vayahealth.com to your Trusted Sites list in your internet browser. This will allow the eTraining website to load all content correctly.
  3. If you are using Internet Explorer version 8 or lower, you will need to install the Adobe Flash Player to view the training videos properly.
  4. If you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, you will need working speakers/headphones to hear the video portions of the training. Please be sure to connect and test your headphones prior to viewing the training videos.
  5. If you would like to view the eTraining video with closed captions functionality, you will need to view the videos in a Google Chrome browser.  Google Chrome provides a video function bar that allows you to turn on and off the closed captions text displayed at the bottom of the video. Audio will play if you have working speakers/headphones.
