Vaya Health’s Human Rights Committee helps ensure the protection of human rights, civil rights, and client rights for all individuals who receive mental health, substance use disorder, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or traumatic brain injury services through Vaya’s provider network. The committee is responsible for reviewing and monitoring trends in grievances and incidents, such as the use of restrictive interventions, abuse, neglect, exploitation, death, and medication errors. It reports to the Board of Directors and meets at least quarterly.
