Betty Jo White Outreach is planning their Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 10th 9:30 -11:30 at East Wilkes Middle School for the schools in Eastern Wilkes County. The event will be outside. Games, cinch bags and school supplies, per grade, will be provided for 200 students.

There will be free back-to-school and sports physicals, health education, blood pressure, and glucose screenings, dental health education, and other exciting services to the community.This event is open to the public.

This is a free event at Spruce Pine Public Library, facilitated by the Vaya Health GERO team. CEU’s are provided through NC Department of Health and Human Services. This course covers a variety of complementary treatments for overall mental health that can support managing everyday stressors and improving wellness.
