Back to school event for school supplies, shoes, backpacks, fun, games, resource/vendor tables, free food.

Swain County Congregations for Children will hold a Back to School Bash on August 3 from 10 AM-12 PM at the Swain County High School track. The goal is to provide information about community organizations as well as needed school supplies for our Pre-K to 5th grade students.

Tri-County Community Collaborative meets monthly to address system improvements for youth and families in Franklin, Vance, and Granville Counties. This event is to issue support through the collaborative the 3 school systems in those counties to provide quality backpacks and supplies to students in need.

Betty Jo White Outreach is planning their Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 10th 9:30 -11:30 at East Wilkes Middle School for the schools in Eastern Wilkes County. The event will be outside. Games, cinch bags and school supplies, per grade, will be provided for 200 students.

This is our annual meeting where all members are encouraged to attend to network, learn best practices, get updates on state issues and current hot topics.

Organizations will gather to support children with school supplies and community resources for youth and families.

Join us to celebrate the completion of the summer program for the youth mentors, mentors in training, and the littles. There will be an art auction filled with the artwork that the youth have made over the summer. Food and entertainment will be provided! Looking forward to celebrating with you!
