Camp Hope – Alamance County

Camp HOPE America is the leading year-round camping and mentoring program in the country for children and teens impacted by trauma. It’s also the first evidence-based camping and mentoring program in the US to focus on children and teens exposed to domestic violence. Pathways is a year-round group mentorship program with monthly activities. Children can participate in a week of Camp HOPE or Pathways or both depending on what works best for them. Children who are exposed to trauma such as DV are more likely to experience health, social, and legal disparities as adults. The mission is to give traumatized youth a brighter future by creating pathways to hope and healing. The program consists of a week of overnight camp supported by yearlong activities and group mentorship referred to as Pathways.
