Peer Support Conference – Buncombe County

Experts from around the country will present to an expected 250+ attendees from Western North Carolina and across the country.
Peer Support is an evidence-based profession certified through the UNC School of Social Work where peers utilize their lived experience to provide support, education, and resource navigation for others on their wellness journeys. Peer Support Specialists are found in many sectors including healthcare, justice systems, mental health, non-profit, treatment facilities and for-profit businesses and organizations.
