You never know when disaster will strike or how long it will last. An emergency or disaster can cause complications with your health care. Vaya Health is here to support members, recipients, and their families during emergencies or disasters, such as floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other weather events. We will provide resources, updates, and guidance to make sure you can get the care you need throughout the state of emergency.


How can I get help during an emergency or disaster?

Members, recipients, and their loved ones who need help can call our Member and Recipient Service Line at 1-800-962-9003 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday – Saturday.

If you need assistance outside of those hours, call our Behavioral Health Crisis Line at 1-800-849-6127, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In cases of life-threatening or medical emergencies, call 911.

How Can I Get Medications During an Emergency or Disaster?

You should not have to go without your medicines during an emergency or disaster. Call your pharmacy or the Member and Recipient Service Line at 1-800-962-9003 if you do not have enough medicine. Your pharmacy may be able to give you enough medicine to get through the emergency.
